 The grievance of the petitioner, who happens to be a complainant in FIR No. 115 dated 08.06.2023 under Sections 323, 341, 451, 506 read with Section 148 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station Sadar Ludhiana, District Police Commissionerate Ludhiana, is that though the aforesaid FIR has been registered by the police on 08.06.2023 but the investigation of the same continues to be pending till date. 2.

Learned State counsel informs that the investigation is going to end and final report shall be submitted as expeditiously as possible. 3.

If the final report is not submitted by the police within a period of next one month, then the petitioner is free to avail the remedy as provided under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Section 175 of the BNSS) about non-conduction of investigation in free, fair and expeditious manner.
