The present petition has been filed inter alia praying for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 36 dated 08.04.2022 under Sections 302, 323, 148 and 149 of Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Kot lsse Khan, District Moga.

After arguing vehemently on the merits at length and when the Court was not inclined to grant the concession of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, learned counsel for the petitioner has prayed for withdrawal of the present petition with liberty that the petitioner shall surrender himself on or before 06.12.2023 and prays that his regular bail be decided expeditiously.

In light of the above, the present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn and the petitioner is directed to surrender on or before 06.12.2023 and in case, he applies for regular bail, the same be decided expeditiously within 5 working days thereafter. 4.

It is made clear that the dismissal of this petition shall not be taken as any expression of opinion for considering the grant of regular bail to the petitioner, and the same shall be decided on its own merits.
