       Through this petition, the petitioners seek quashing of FIR No.288 dated 23.08.2017, registered at Police Station Sector 36 Chandigarh, under Sections 380 and 411 IPC, and all the consequential proceedings arising therefrom, including the judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 12.06.2019, on the basis of compromise dated 09.12.2019 (Annexure P-3) arrived at between the parties. Learned APP, U.T. Chandigarh, on instructions from Inspector Harbans Singh, submits that the present petition has become infructuous for the reason that the appeal preferred by the petitioners has since been decided and they have been released on probation. In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
