The petitioner has filed the present petition Article 226 of the Constitution of India with a prayer to issue directions to the official respondents to produce and release the alleged detenue Muskan who was in the illegal detention of respondents No.4 to 15. 2.

In compliance of the order dated 11.11.2024 passed by this Court, the official respondents have produced the alleged detenue Muskan before this Court. During the Court proceedings I have interacted with the alleged detenue. She submits that she has studied upto 08th standard and is aged about 17 years. On 11.11.2024, she was recovered by the police from Haldwani and was brought to her parents. At present she is staying with her parents. She further submits that she wishes to stay with her parents in future also. However, MAMTA 2024.11.22 17:14 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

CRWP-10651-2024 -2during the Court proceedings she has expressed the apprehension that some harm may be caused to her family by the private respondents. 3.

In view of the statement made by the alleged detenue Muskan, no further orders are required to be passed and the present petition is disposed off accordingly.

Needless to observe that the petitioner as well as respondents No.4 to 15 shall be at liberty to avail their alternative remedies, if any, in accordance with law.

Still further the Superintendent of Police, Palwal, respondent No.2 is directed to ensure the protection of life and liberty of the petitioner and her family members.
