AT CHANDIGARH CWP-8740-2026 Date of Decision: 27.04.2026 Petition herein is, inter alia, seeking a writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing the fixation of collector rates for the year 2024-25 vide notification dated 29.11.2024 (Annexure P-1) and also for the year 2026-26 vide notification dated 04.08.2025 (Annexure P-2) in respect of Village Rahimpur, District Palwal, Haryana.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the present writ petition, challenge has been laid to the collector rates for the years 2024-25, fixed vide notification dated 29.11.2024 (Annexure P-1) and also the collector rates for the years 2025-26 fixed vide notification dated 04.08.2025 (Annexure P-2), in respect of Village Rahimpur, District Palwal, Haryana; however, it is submitted that as on date, another revision of the collector rates has been carried out, and, therefore, he prays for withdrawal of the instant writ petition with liberty to file fresh one with better particulars and after challenging the revised rates as well. 3.

Keeping in view the aforesaid submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
