The petitioner seeks grant of interim bail for a period of 30 days so as to get his own marriage solemnized on 09/10.11.2024 and also to

- 2 - participate in the marriage of his real sister-Avnish, which is also stated to be solemnized during the said dates. 2.

Pursuant to issuance of notice of motion and a specific direction issued by this Court to the respondent-State vide order dated 6.11.2024, learned State counsel has got the necessary verification conducted. Learned State counsel, upon instructions from Inspector Ravinder Pal, has stated that upon verification, it has been confirmed that the marriages of petitioner-Deepak @ Jatt and Avnish i.e. real sister of the petitioner are to be solemnized on 09.11.2024 and 10.11.2024. As per the directions issued by this Court, Inspector Ravinder Pal, who is present in person, has also informed that he informed the parents of Ms. Reena Devi to whom the petitioner is sated to get married regarding the factum of pendency of FIR against the petitioner. Learned State counsel has today passed on statements of Ms. Reena Devi and her parents namely Mr. Darshan Singh and Mrs. Mido Devi, wherein the factum as regards marriage of real sister and of petitioner has been verified. The aforesaid statements are taken on record.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case particularly bearing in mind that the petitioner's real sister as well as petitioner himself are to get married on 09.11.2024 and 10.11.2024, respectively, it goes without saying that the petitioner would be required to be present to perform his marriage and also to perform

- 3 - certain rites and ceremonies in respect of marriage of his real sister and he would also be required to make necessary arrangements in connection with his own marriage as well as marriage of his real sister. The instant petition, as such, is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on interim bail forthwith upto 15.11.2024 subject to his furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate concerned. 4.

The petitioner, after availing interim bail shall surrender before the Jail Authorities on the morning of 16.11.2024 by 10:00 A.M .
