Dated Police Station Sections 08.11.2018 Dinanagar District Gurdaspur (now at Central Jail Ferozepur 302/307/323/148/149 IPC and Section 25 of Arms Act Seeking direction to official respondents to look into the matter of the petitioner in the captioned FIR, the petitioner, claiming to be an aggrieved person, has come up before this court seeking the issuance of appropriate directions. 2.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that email dated 17.09.2025 (Annexure P-1) is yet to be decided. I have perused the email which is a unsigned paper. When this Court passed query qua this aspect, learned counsel submits that he wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file an appropriate representation to the concerned Inspector General of Prison and said officer be directed to decide the same in a time bound manner. 3.

Let the petitioner file fresh representation supported by notarised affidavit to the concerned Inspector General of Prison, on or before 30.09.2025 from today, in case, such representation is filed, then, the same shall be decided by the concerned office, within a week, either himself/herself or by authorizing and delegating it to any officer holding IPS cadre. The order so passed be also communicated to the petitioner. 4.
