By way of present writ petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has approached this Court inter alia for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to re-issue the passport to the petitioner with corrected particulars. 2.

Advance copy of the petition has been served upon the respondents. 3.

Upon instructions, counsel representing the respondents submits that the application, Annexure P-8, is lacking in particulars and respondent No.2, intends to issue a notice to the petitioner, calling for clarification. 4.

Let the same be done. It is expected that respondent No.2, would process the application, Annexure P-8, under the provisions of the Passport Act, 1967 and Rules, as framed thereunder, as expeditiously as possible. 5.

Petition is disposed of.
