(Oral) This petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondent/Commission to grant five marks to the petitioners under Socio-Economic criteria pursuant to advertisement no.2 of 2023, dated 21.02.2023.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the claim raised herein by the petitioners is squarely covered by judgment of this Court, dated 17.10.2023, rendered in CWP No. 15290 of 2023 titled Suman Lata v. State of Haryana and others, and detailed representation on that basis will be filed by the petitioners within one week from today. At this stage, the petitioners restrict their prayer to a direction to decide the said representation within a specified period.

Learned State counsel, appearing on advance notice, submits that result of selection has not been declared so far on account of pending petitions, CWP No.17751 of 2023 and CWP No.15826 of 2023. He further submits that in case detailed representation is filed by the petitioners, the same shall be decided by passing a reasoned order in the light of judgment rendered in Suman Lata case (supra) before the declaration of selection result. 4.

In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, learned for the petitioners has no objection to the petition being disposed of in terms thereof.
