Learned counsel would submit that regarding the claim raised in the present petition, a legal notice dated 25.09.2024 (Annexure P-7) has been served upon the respondents by relying on the judgments passed by this Court in Harbans Lal vs. State of Punjab and others, CWP-2371-2010, decided on 31.08.2010 and Joginder Singh vs. State of Haryana, 1998(1) S.C.T. 795, which has yet not evoked any response. He thus, at this stage, on instructions, prays that a direction be given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner.
