Present petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking grant of regular bail, in case, FIR No.251, dated 27.07.2017, under Sections 148/149/323/325/452/302/216/201 of IPC, registered at Police Station Nangal Chaudhri (now Police Station Nizampur), District Mahendergarh.

Learned counsel for the petitioner primarily contends that no incriminating evidence remains on record to secure the conviction of any of the accused, particularly in view of the fact that complainant, namely Ramotar (father of the deceased, Sukhram), expired prior to his appearance before the Court as a witness.

It is further submitted that the second eye-witness/injured, namely Kamli Devi, though examined as PW-1, did not support the case of the prosecution, insofar as the petitioner is concerned. LAVISHA 2026.02.04 14:38 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document PHHC, Chandigarh

However, on being asked by the Court, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that trial is at its final stage and is presently fixed for defence evidence and final arguments. 5.

Having been apprised of the stage of the trial, this Court deems it appropriate to refrain from adjudicating upon the prayer for regular bail as sought by the petitioner through the present petition. 6.

Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of, with a direction to the trial Court to conclude the trial expeditiously, in accordance with law.
