The petitioner through instant petition is seeking setting aside of notices dated 19.11.2023 (Annexure P-2) and 21.11.2023 (Annexure P-3) whereby petitioner was called upon to show cause as to how unauthorised paddy was stored in its premises.

Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that petitioner for KMS 2023-24 has not been allotted paddy, nevertheless, the District Magistrate, PUNSUP, Kapurthala conducted search at the premises of the petitioner on 18.11.2023 and thereafter issued notices dated 19.11.2023 and 21.11.2023.

Learned State counsel submits that competent authority has passed order dated 08.01.2024 whereby petitioner has been blacklisted for three years for allotment of paddy. The said order is an appealable order. 4.

Faced with this, counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to avail remedies as permissible by law against order dated 08.01.2024 passed by respondents. 5.
