The instant petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.186 dated 31.07.2025 registered under Section 108 of BNSS, at Police Station Model Town, District Hoshiarpur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is no more required in this case.

Mr. Jasinder Singh Sekhon, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of the complainant and has filed Vakalatnama, which is taken on record.

Learned State counsel has not refuted the aforesaid assertions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and, on instructions from ASI GEETA RANI 2026.02.11 17:30 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment Punjab & Haryana High Court at Chandigarh

CRM-M-53601-2025 (O&M) ( 2 ) Deepak Kumar further submits that the petitioner is not required by the police for further investigation or custodial interrogation. 5.

In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and order of interim bail dated 22.09.2025 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions as provided under Section 482(2) of the BNSS, 2023.
