Mr. Amit Rana, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab. MANJARI NEHRU KAUL , J. (ORAL) Petitioner is seeking concession of interim regular bail in FIR No.132 dated 05.10.2024 under Sections 15, 27, 29 of the NDPS Act, registered at Police Station Nurpur Bedi, District Rupnagar, for attending the marriage of his brother, which is due to be solemnized on 17th and 18th November, 2024 at Village Balewal, Tehsil Anandpur Sahib (Ropar). In support, learned counsel has drawn the attention of this Court to Annexure P-5, which is the marriage invitation card. 2.

Status report by way of affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Sri Anandpur Sahib, has been filed in the Court today, which is taken on record subject to just exceptions. 3.

Learned State counsel while drawing the attention of this Court to the status report filed, submits that marriage of brother of the petitioner is indeed to be solemnized on 18.11.2024 at Village Balewal, PUNEET SACHDEVA 2024.11.14 16:37 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CRM-M-56130-2024 -2Tehsil Anandpur Sahib. He, on instructions from ASI Ram Kumar, submits that the petitioner has no previous criminal antecedents. 4.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 5.

In view of the above, the petitioner is ordered to be released on interim bail w.e.f. 17.11.2024 to 19.11.2024 subject to his furnishing bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate concerned.

The petitioner shall surrender back to the jail authorities concerned on 19.11.2024 before 05:00 P.M.
