By way of filing this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioner, who is tenant of respondent No.6, has prayed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing respondent Nos.2 to 4 to protect his life and liberty at the hands of respondent Nos.5 to 8. Allegations of the petitioner are that respondent No.6 with the help of respondent Nos.5,7 & 8 has forcibly taken possession of the premises and locked his office. It is also the case of the petitioner that he is receiving threats from respondent Nos.5 to 8 to falsely implicate in some case and that he has been repeatedly called to the police Station Dhakoli, Zirakpur and made to sit whole day without any purpose. With regard to the allegations qua taking over forcible possession by respondent No.

6, the petitioner has adequate remedy under the Rent Controller Act and it will be open to him to take recourse to the same. As regards the grievance that the petitioner is being repeatedly called to the police station, the situation can be remedied by directing respondent Nos.4 & 5 that in case presence of the petitioner is required in connection MANOJ KUMAR 2019.12.

CRWP No.2204 of 2019 #2# with the investigation of any case, procedure as contemplated under Section 160 Cr.P.C be strictly followed.

Ordered accordingly.
