SUVIR SEHGAL J. (Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he had submitted a complaint (Annexure P-2) to the Director, Panchayat and Rural Development, Punjab on 22.10.2019 regarding the mis-deeds of the Sarpanch of the village but the complaint has remained unattended. Since no action has been taken on the complaint, it is an appropriate that a direction be issued to respondent No.2 to look into the allegations made in the complaint. It is, accordingly, directed that respondent no.2 will enquire into the allegations made in the complaint and submit a report thereon, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
