The cause behind the petitioner approaching this Court, through the instant petition, is the lethargic and indolent approach of the Station House Officer concerned, who despite being afforded several opportunities by the learned Magistrate concerned, has not yet submitted the status report.

On the last date of hearing before the learned Magistrate concerned, i.e. on 06.11.2023, a request for adjournment was made by the Station House Officer concerned for enabling him to file the status report, which was allowed, as is evident from Annexure P-9. Now, the said case is listed for 02.12.2023, for awaiting the status report. 3.

At this stage, the learned State counsel has very fairly submitted before this Court that, in case, a direction is issued upon the DEVINDER YADAV 2023.11.30 18:20 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRM-M-60206-2023 CRM-M-60206-2023 Station House Officer concerned, the status report will surely be filed before the learned Magistrate concerned, on the date fixed, i.e. 02.12.2023.

In view of the fair submission made hereinabove by the learned State counsel, the Station House Officer concerned is directed to, after conducting complete inquiry, submit the status report on 02.12.2023, as requisitioned by the learned Magistrate concerned. 5.

Disposed of accordingly.
