The instant petition has been filed under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 (earlier Section 439 Cr.P.C.), for grant of regular bail to the petitioner, during the pendency of trial, who has been booked in a criminal case arising out of First Information Report, as detailed here-under:- Name of Petitioner(s) FIR No.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties, on 28.10.2025, following order was passed by this Court:- "i) Present petition has been filed under Section 483 of the BNSS, seeking regular bail in case FIR No. 125 dated 24.06.2023, under Section 307 IPC (Section 302 IPC was added later on vide Rapat No. 27 dated 01.09.2023), registered at Police Station Lambi, District Sri Muktsar Sahib.

Sister of petitioner herself is a witness to the act of her brother, Harman Singh @ Harmandeep Singh, inflicting injuries upon the deceased. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the said witness has already been examined and has turned hostile; however, he does not possess the copy of her statement.

Today, at the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner informs that all the prosecution witnesses have been examined and proceedings are now at the final stage before the trial Court and the trial is likely to be concluded in the near future.

In view of the stage of the trial, as informed by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I refrain from dealing with the prayer for bail at this stage.

Accordingly, present petition stands disposed of without making any observations on merits.
