This is a petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.0056 dated 01.08.2018 registered under Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 at Women Police Station, District Amritsar, on merits.

Learned counsel for the State has submitted that during the pendency of the present petition, the parties have compromised the matter and the FIR in question against the petitioners stands quashed vide judgment dated 06.07.2023 passed in CRM-M-10044-2023 on the basis of the compromise.

In view of the above, the present petition is rendered infructuous and is disposed off as such. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
