Mr. Aayush Gupta, Advocate for the petitioners. Mr. Siddharth Sandhu, AAG, Punjab **** HARKESH MANUJA, J. (ORAL) By way of present petition filed under Section 482 CRPC, prayer has been made for issuance of directions to official respondents not to unnecessarily harass the petitioners on behalf of private respondents as the dispute involving their complaint is primarily of civil nature.

In response, learned State counsel informs that inquiry into the allegations levelled against the petitioners at the hands of private respondents has now been transferred to some other Officer. Learned State counsel further assures that all the necessary safeguards including Section 41-A of CrPC shall be followed while inquiring into the allegations levelled by the private respondents. In view of the aforesaid stand taken by learned State counsel, the present petition stands disposed of. No further orders are required to be passed.
