1. The instant petition has been filed by Ajmer Singh (complainant) wherein directions have been sought to the official respondents to conduct a fair investigation in the matter arising out of FIR No.43, dated 19.9.2024, Police Station Tallewal, District Barnala, under Sections 103, 3(5) and 61(2) of BNS, 2023.

2. 3. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, but without commenting anything as regards the veracity of the averments made in the petition, the same is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Barnala, to get representation dated 29.10.2024 (Annexure P-6) examined and to ensure that the matter arising out of the aforestated FIR is got investigated fairly and expeditiously in accordance with law so that a final report be submitted thereafter at the earliest. In case the statement of son of the deceased has not been recorded, then his statement be also recorded in terms of Section 180 of BNS within a period of two weeks from today.

4. A copy of this order along with copy of representation dated 29.10.2024 (Annexure P-6) be sent to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Barnala, for necessary compliance.
