Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that due to the dispute over purchase of plot, private respondents are posing threat to the life and liberty of the petitioners. He has confined his submission only for direction to Commissioner of Police, Amritsar to look into the apprehension of the petitioner to this effect and take appropriate action without interfering in the property dispute.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Amritsar to look into the apprehension of petitioners as put forth by their counsel, verify the same and take appropriate action as required under law, on receipt of copy of this order.
