This petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing orders dated 23.12.2022 and 05.06.2024, Annexures P-10 and P-12, respectively, whereby the respondent-authorities have demanded deficit stamp duty from the petitioner.

At the outset, State counsel submits that the petitioner has an alternative remedy of filing a revision petition under Section 47-B of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, as applicable to the State of Haryana, which he has not availed.

Faced with the objection raised by the State counsel, counsel for the petitioner seeks and is granted permission to withdraw the instant writ petition with liberty to take recourse to the remedy available to the petitioner. 4.
