(Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking quashing of impugned order dated 13.11.2018 (P-7) passed by respondent No. 4 and order dated 04.06.2018 (P-5) passed by respondent No. 5 whereby objections raised by the petitioner along with other persons, have been rejected regarding voter list published for the election of Gram Panchayat Village Sohal Jagir.

It is not in dispute that the elections of the Gram Panchayat of village Sohal Jagir has already taken place and thus, the present petition has become rendered infructuous.

Dismissed as infructuous.

However, the petitioner is at liberty to take take their alternative remedy in accordance with law, raising their claim for changing of their names in the voter list of village Jagatpur Sohal Tehsil Shahkot District Jalandhar.
