*** RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.21 dated 10.03.2018, registered under Sections 279, 337, 338 IPC, Police Station Balongi (P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise. Pursuant to order dated 15.12.2018 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court on 11.01.2019, to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Kharar, has submitted her report vide letter bearing No.21 dated 17.01.2019 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, SAS Nagar, vide Endst. No.671 dated 17.01.2019.
According to the report, ld. Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Kharar SONIKA 2019.05.24 09:46 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
CRM-M-55037 of 2018 --2-- is satisfied that the compromise is genuine, voluntarily and out of free will of the parties.
In compliance of order dated 12.04.2019, receipt qua deposit of costs has also been produced in Court today. The same is taken on record. Be tagged at appropriate place.
Considering the report of ld. Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Kharar, dated 17.01.2019 and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid FIR No.21 dated 10.03.2018 along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioner only.
Disposed of accordingly.
