(Oral) By CRM no.30311 of 2020, advancement of the date of hearing is sought in the accompanying petition, which is one seeking quashing of the FIR itself on the basis of a compromise arrived at between the parties. Pursuant to the order of this court dated 19.12.2019, a report of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gurdaspur, dated 07.02.2020,               

     

     That being so, notice is issued in the application seeking advancement of the date of hearing in the accompanying petition, with Mr. Randhir Singh, learned DAG, Punjab, accepting notice on behalf of the respondent State.

Mr. Sartaj Singh Thakur, learned counsel appearing for the complainant, also accepts notice on behalf of the complainant, with him not denying the factum of the compromise and not opposing the advancement of VIKAS CHANDER 2020.12.20 10:33 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-54123 of 2019  This petition has been filed seeking quashing on the basis of a compromise arrived at between the petitioners and respondents no.2 and 3, of FIR no.002 dated 19.02.2019 (as also all other subsequent proceedings arising therefrom), registered at Police Station NRI, District Gurdaspur, for the alleged commission of offences punishable under Sections 498A and 406 of the IPC. A copy of the compromise deed has been annexed as Annexure P-2 with the petition.
