(ORAL) Petitioner, at whose behest criminal proceedings vide FIR No.217 dated 03.06.2025 under Sections 115,117(2),3(5) and 351(2) of BNS were registered at P.S Sonepat Sadar against Narender, Devender sons of Dharambir and Anuj son of Devender, all residents of village Guhna Moohana, Sonepat, has filed the present petition under Section 528 of BNSS, praying therein that the investigation of the aforesaid case be monitored by some senior police officer. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the lodging of the aforesaid FIR, petitioner has been victimized and subjected to harassment at the hands of local police officials. Investigation is being conducted in a very shoddy manner. Despite the fact that in the assault unleashed by the accused party, MANOJ KUMAR 2025.09.24 21:23 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order the petitioner suffered multiple grievous injuries including a fracture, the local

CRM-M-53880-2025 police officials with a view to shield the accused opted to invoke only minor offences. Further despite the fact that aforesaid FIR was registered but surprisingly, the investigation was transferred to CIA staff, Sonepat for the reasons best known and rather than recording statements of injured witnesses, petitioner was asked to submit details of his bank accounts etc. Learned counsel submits that though the petitioner moved an application to the senior police officials to look into the matter but no heed was paid. Learned counsel, at this stage, restricts his prayer to direct respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 12.09.2025 (Annexure P.8) moved by the petitioner.

After considering the respective submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and the averments made in the petition, without commenting on the merits thereof, the present petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2 to consider and dispose of the representation dated 12.09.2025 (Annexure P.8), within a period of four weeks, in accordance with law in an expeditious manner.
