The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent No. 3 to re-issue her passport with correct date of birth.

Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that petitioner was issued passport on 18.02.2020 which is valid upto 17.02.2025. In the passport, date of birth of the petitioner is recorded as 20.02.2013 whereas as per petitioner, her correct date of birth is 20.03.2013. 3.

Learned counsel for Union of India, who on advance notice is present in Court, submits that application of the petitioner is under active consideration and would be disposed of within six weeks from today. 4.

In the wake of statement of learned counsel for Union of India, the petition stands disposed of.
