The present petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No. 71 dated 19.06.2017, registered under Sections 406 and 498-A of Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Women Police Station Sector 17 Chandigarh (Annexure P-1) and the charges framed therein. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the present petition, the matter has attained finality, as the parties have compromised and the FIR has been quashed and more so, the parties have also been granted divorce thereafter and hence, no cause of action survives.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has placed on record the copy of the orders in Court today, which are taken on record, subject to all just exceptions.
