Prayer in this petition, filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, is for quashing of impugned order dated 29.08.2025 (P-1), passed by Ld. Additional Sessions Judge, Kurukshetra, in case No. SC-298 of 2021, titled as, "State v. Maan Singh and others", vide which, petitioner has been declared as 'proclaimed person', despite he being witness in case FIR No. 270, dated 10.05.2021 (P-2), registered at P.S. Shahbad, District Kurukshetra, u/s 148, 149, 323, 324, 307 & 506 of IPC. 2.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the trial already stands concluded and the accused has been convicted vide judgment dated 31.10.2025. In view thereof, he submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous and be disposed of as such. 3.
