(ORAL) Through this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C, prayer has been made for quashing FIR No. 105 dated 12.09.2019 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 420 and 120-B IPC at Police Station City, Rampura, District Bathinda and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, as the matter has been compromised between the parties. Pursuant to the order dated 19.12.2019, both the parties are present in person.

Learned counsel for respondent No. 2 submits that the matter has been compromised in between the parties and he has no objection, to the acceptance of this petition; quashing FIR (Annexure P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom against the petitioners. Both the parties have furnished their separate affidavits duly signed and thumb marked by them in this regard. The same are taken on record. Considering no objection of respondent No. 2-complainant in quashing the aforesaid FIR and the fact that the compromise will bring harmony and peace in relations between the parties, this petition is allowed.

Consequently, the aforesaid FIR No. 105 dated 12.09.2019 (Annexure P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, qua the petitioners are quashed, subject to payment of `20,000/- as costs with the Poor Patients' Welfare Fund of the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, which the petitioners have paid through online and produced copy of receipt duly attested by learned counsel for the petitioners. The same is also taken on record. Be tagged at the appropriate place.
