**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) In the present case, mother of late Sh. Paramjit Singh who was working as a Sewadar-cum-Chowkidar with respondent No.5, has approached this Court for the release of the benefits after the death of her unmarried son, who died on 18.04.2016.
It has been contended that even the husband of the petitioner died on 10.11.2016 and she was dependent upon the deceased Sh. Paramjit Singh and nothing has been paid to her after the death of her son despite repeated requests and reminders.
Counsel for the petitioner further states that for the relief which has been sought in the present writ petition, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 27.06.2017 (Annexure P-2), which is still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a time bound direction is issued to the respondents to decide the said representation. CWP-32172-2018 -2In view of the above request, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case and the claim being made by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to decide the representation dated 27.06.2017 (Annexure P-2) by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. In case after the decision, it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any monetary benefit, the same shall also be released to her within a period of next three months.
Present writ petition stands disposed of.
