**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J.(Oral) Petitioner has preferred this writ petition for the issuance of a writ in the nature of quo warranto directing the official respondents to remove respondent No.4 from service i.e. from the post of Deputy District Education Officer. Petitioner has claimed that the appointment of respondent No.4 is illegal as he did not possess the essential qualifications as per statutory rules. He further claims that the certificates of academic qualification possessed by respondent MOHMED ATIK 2022.05.05 17:23 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-37578-2019 (O&M)  No.4 are fake.

During pendency of the present writ petition, respondent No.4 has retired from service on 09.07.2020. Since respondent No.4 has retired from service, therefore, the prayer as regards issuance of quo warranto has become infructuous. No such writ can be issued after retirement of respondent No.4. Consequently, this petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.

As regards other prayers, the petitioner may resort to legal remedies in accordance with law.

All pending misc. applications (if any) are accordingly disposed of.
