In the present writ petition, the grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner, who was selected as a Patwari, is not being given any posting order and the petitioner, who was directed to join the Department of Rural Development and Panchayat, Haryana, has not been allowed to do so. 2.

Learned State counsel rebuts the said averment and submits that there is no refusal by the Department of Rural Development and Panchayat, Haryana to allow the petitioner to join the service in pursuance to the selection but he was adamant not to join keeping in view the pendency of the present petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, upon seeking instructions from the petitioner, who is present in the Court, submits that the petitioner will join the duties on 11.03.2024 before 11:00 A.M. 4.

Learned State counsel submits that the petitioner should go and give joining to the office of Deputy Commissioner, Yamunanagar where he HARSHA RANI 2024.03.05 06:21 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there are other Patwaris, who were lower in merit than the petitioner in the written examination, who have been given appointment in the Revenue Department whereas, the said relief is not being given to the petitioner and that too without any valid justification.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner should also be adjusted in the Revenue Department in case any post is available in the Revenue Department.

Learned State counsel submits that in case any such grievance is raised by the petitioner by filing any representation, the same will be considered in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks of the receipt of any such representation and if found feasible to adjust the petitioner in the Department of Revenue, the said benefit will be extended to him otherwise, due reasons will be given while passing the speaking order in his representation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the above mentioned proceedings, the petitioner intends not to press this petition any further and the same may kindly be disposed of as such with liberty as prayed for.
