(Oral) The instant petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 439 (2) Cr.P.C for cancellation of anticipatory bail granted to respondent No. 2 by this Court, vide order dated 09.05.2017 (P-2) in F.I.R No. 257 dated 31.12.2016 (P-1) under Sections 406/420/494 IPC, registered at P.S. Sadar Jalandhar, District Jalandhar.

At the very outset, learned State counsel has informed the Court that challan in the present case has already been presented and the petitioner was given liberty on 09.05.2017 to file fresh bail bonds, after presentation of the challan.

Keeping in view the above fact, no ground is made out for cancellation of anticipatory bail granted to respondent No. 2, vide order dated 09.05.2017 (P-2).

The petition is dismissed.
