By this order, I dispose of the above mentioned three petitions arising out of the same FIR.

All the petitions have been filed praying for the grant of
regular bail to the petitioners in case bearing FIR No.191, dated 22.10.2021, under Sections 302, 307, 323, 506, 148, 149, 120-B, 201 of IPC and Sections 25/27/54/59 of Arms Act, registered at Police Station Civil Lines, District Bathinda, Punjab.

Succinctly the facts of the case are that FIR in the present case was got registered on the statement of complainant, namely, Manpreet Singh son of Jaskaran Singh. It was alleged that the complainant is the resident of Mehma Bhagwana and do agricultural work. It was alleged that on 22.10.2021, at about 01:00 P.M., the complainant along with his brother, namely, Hassandeep had come to Bathinda to get the parts of the combine. At old Bus Stand, Bathinda, his brother, Hassandeep, met his friends, namely, Parminder Singh @ Bhau, Pindi, Boota Singh, Hardeep Singh Bhau, who came in Verna Car bearing registration No.CH01-AN-0562. It was alleged that they took his brother, Hassandeep along with them by making him sit in the said car. Meanwhile, the complainant was busy in his work. However, his brother did not come back till 03:15 P.M.
It was alleged that when the complainant reached the park, he saw that his brother was sitting on a cement bench with his friends. In the meantime, one Verna car bearing registration No.DL-4C-ND-4462 came, from which Baljinderpal Singh @ Billa armed with 12 bore gun, Satnam Singh (petitioner in CRM-M-54746-2025) armed with water pump handle, Sukhdev Singh @ Jassa @ Thoda (petitioner in CRM-M-584012025) armed with Kirpan and Surinder Singh @ Kali armed with iron rod and another Accent car bearing registration No.
youth armed with baseball, Kirpan and iron rods, etc. stepped out. All of them raised lalkara and entered the park with their weapons towards his brother and his friends. Billa pulled out his gun and others attacked his brother and his friend, namely, Buta Singh on their arms and legs with their weapons with intention to kill them. Thereafter, Billa fired at Buta Singh, which hit on his leg. Brother of the complainant, namely, Hassandeep tried to flee from there and when he went outside the park gate, Gurpreet Singh fired from his pistol, which hit directly on his chest and he fell down. On gathering of the people, all the persons fled away from the spot. His brother and Buta Singh were shifted to the Hospital, where they succumbed to the injuries. Thus, the request was made to take legal action against all the accused persons.
On registration of the FIR, the investigation commenced. During the investigation, complicity of petitioner, namely, Gurcharan Singh @ Charanjit Singh @ G Star (in CRM-M-56122-2025) surfaced and thus, he was also arrayed as an accused in the present case. The petitioners were arrested on 22.10.2021 and 16.09.2022, respectively. The petitioners approached the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge, Bathinda praying for the grant of bail, however, after hearing both the sides and finding no merit in the same, the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Bathinda declined the bail applications filed by all the petitioners vide orders dated 02.09.2025 & 16.07.2024, respectively.
Being aggrieved, the petitioner, namely, Satnam Singh (in CRM-M-54746-2025) earlier approached this Court by way of filing CRM-M-542112024, however the same was dismissed vide order dated 29.10.2024.
praying for the grant of bail by way of filing the present petition. 4.
Learned counsel for the petitioners have vehemently contended that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in the present case. They, at the outset, prays for the grant of bail to the petitioners on the basis of parity with that of the co-accused, namely, Amanpreet Singh @ Aman, Guraditta Singh @ Ananda @ Babu and Surinder Singh @ Kaali. They have drawn the attention of this Court to the order dated 18.08.2025 passed in CRM-M-2962-2023, CRM-M-23744-2023 and CRM-M-25883-2023, whereby, co-accused, namely, Amanpreet Singh @ Aman, Guraditta Singh @ Ananda @ Babu and Surinder Singh @ Kaali have been granted regular bail by this Court. They have submitted that the petitioners are behind bars since the date of their arrest and thus, have suffered an incarceration of more than 3 years. They have submitted that on the basis of the parity, the petitioners deserve to be granted bail as the cases of the petitioners are similar to that of the said co-accused, who have already been granted bail.

Learned State counsel has endorsed the factum of grant of bail to the co-accused of the petitioners as stated above and has not denied that the petitioners are at par with the co-accused, namely, Amanpreet Singh @ Aman, Guraditta Singh @ Ananda @ Babu and Surinder Singh @ Kaali. He has submitted that the petitioners were armed with iron pump handle, leather belt and Kirpan and gave injuries to the brother of complainant and Buta Singh. He has submitted that the petitioners, namely, Jaskaran Singh @ Jassa Singh @ Sukhdev @ Bauda (in CRM-M58401-2025) and Satnam Singh (in CRM-M-54746-2025) are involved in
other cases as well. He has produced custody certificates of all the petitioners today in the Court, which are taken on record. 7.
I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record with their able assistance.

After hearing counsel for the parties and perusing the record, it is deciphered that occurrence in the present case had taken place on 22.10.2021. The petitioners are behind bars since the date of their arrest, i.e. 22.10.2021 and 16.09.2022. Co-accused, namely, Amanpreet Singh @ Aman, Guraditta Singh @ Ananda @ Babu and Surinder Singh @ Kaali are already on bail and the cases of the petitioners as stated are at par with them. Custody certificates produced would show that the petitioners, namely, Satnam Singh (in CRM-M-54746-2025) and Jaskaran Singh @ Jassa Singh @ Sukhdev @ Bauda (in CRM-M-58401-2025) have suffered an incarceration of 03 years, 02 months and 10 days whereas the petitioner, namely, Gurcharan Singh @ Charanjit Singh @ G Star (in CRM-M-56122-2025) has suffered incarceration of 03 years, 09 months and 02 days as on 30.11.

It further reflects that the petitioner, namely, Gurcharan Singh @ Charanjit Singh @ G Star (in CRM-M56122-2025) is not involved in any other case, whereas the petitioner, namely, Satnam Singh (in CRM-M-54746-2025) is involved in 06 other cases, however in 01 case, he is on bail and in 01 case, he has been acquitted and the petitioner, namely, Jaskaran Singh @ Jassa Singh @ Sukhdev @ Bauda (in CRM-M-58401-2025) is involved in 08 other cases, however in 02 cases, he is on bail, in 01 case, he has been discharged and in 04 cases, he has been acquitted and in 01 case, he is on probation.

The veracity of the allegations would be assessed only after conclusion of the trial and on the appreciation of evidence to be led by both the parties before the trial Court. The trial of the case will take sufficiently long time. Thus, keeping in view the overall facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the opinion that learned counsel for the petitioners succeed in making out a case for grant of regular bail to the petitioners on parity.

Accordingly, all the petitions are allowed and the petitioners, namely, Satnam Singh, Gurcharan Singh @ Charanjit Singh @ G Star and Jaskaran Singh @ Jassa Singh @ Sukhdev @ Bauda are ordered to be released on bail on their furnishing bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the concerned trial Court/Duty Magistrate. Nothing said herein shall be treated as an expression of opinion on the merits of the case. If the petitioner, namely, Satnam Singh (in CRM-M-54746-2025) does not furnish the bail bonds within seven days from today, then his further custody period after one week will not be counted in the present case.
