Instant petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of direction to the official respondents to produce detenue - Mandeep Kaur w/o petitioner - Yogesh Jangra from illegal custody of respondents No. 4 to 7, who have illegally detained her against her will.

Notice was issued to the State and detenue was directed to be produced before this Court.

Detenue - Mandeep Kaur alongwith ASI Jasmeet Kaur, is present in the Court. The Court has interacted with her. She has submitted that she had performed marriage with the petitioner and they had approached this Court by way of filing CRWP-8700-2024, seeking protection as well which was disposed of by this Court vide order dated 09.09.2024. However, she submits that presently she is living with her parents with her own free will and she wants to remain with her parents only at Barwala.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of. 6.

However, the petitioner would be at liberty to avail his remedy as available to him under the law, if any cause of action survives.
