The applicant through instant application under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (for short "1996 Act") is seeking appointment of an Arbitrator to adjudicate the dispute between the parties. 2.

Counsel for the parties are ad idem that this Court vide order dated 28.10.2024 passed in ARB No. 7 of 2024 and connected matters has appointed an Arbitrator to adjudicate the dispute between the parties. The dispute involved in the case in hand is identical to the dispute involved in those applications. Counsel for the parties further submit that same Arbitrator may be appointed in the instant application. 3.

In the wake of statement of counsel for the parties, Mr. Justice Jasbir Singh, Retired Judge of this Court, residing at House No.839, Sector 16, Chandigarh, Mobile No. 9780008106 is hereby appointed as a Sole PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2024.11.12 04:40 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

ARB No.553 of 2024 -2Arbitrator to adjudicate the dispute between the parties, subject to compliance of statutory requirements. The learned Arbitrator is requested to comply with mandate of Section 12 of 1996 Act before proceeding further. 4.

Parties are directed to appear before the learned Arbitrator on date, time and place to be fixed by the Arbitrator at his convenience. 5.

The Arbitrator shall be paid fee in accordance with the Fourth Schedule of the Act, as amended.

The Arbitrator is requested to complete the proceedings as per time limit specified under Section 29-A of the 1996 Act. 7.

Needless to mention, parties would be at liberty to raise all the claims/defences/counter claims/pleas before the Arbitrator. Any observation made hereinabove will not be binding on the learned Arbitrator. 8.

A request letter along with copy of this order be sent to Mr. Justice Jasbir Singh.
