The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking direction to respondents to count the service rendered as daily wage service for qualifying service for the purpose of pensionary/retiral benefits. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners, inter alia, contends that case of the petitioners is squarely covered by Division Bench judgment dated 31.08.2010 (Annexure P-4) of this Court in Harbans Lal Vs. State of Punjab, CWP No.2371 of 2010.

Mr. Aman Dhir, DAG, Punjab, who on advance notice is present in Court submits that in terms of judgment of Division Bench of this Court in Harbans Lal's case (supra), the respondents-authorities in Anju Goel 2024.11.13 10:04 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CWP-30516-2024 the case of various officials have considered their claim and passed orders. He further asserts that appropriate authority would consider case of the petitioners in terms of judgment of Division Bench of this Court in Harbans Lal's case (supra) and pass an appropriate order within 3 months from today.
