(Oral) Petitioners got a degree of Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from Sri Ganganagar Veterinary College, in the year 2016. Certain posts of Veterinary Surgeon were advertised by the Haryana Public Service Commission on a requisition received from the State. Petitioners applied pursuant to the same. On the relevant date, the degree acquired by the petitioners was not recognized by the State of Haryana. By virtue of interim order dated December 04, 2018, petitioners were allowed to appear for the selection conducted by the Commission. Vide order dated December 13, 2018, two posts of Veterinary Surgeon were also directed to be kept vacant in view of pendency of the petition.

Admittedly, by now the degree obtained by the petitioners has been recognized by the State. Learned counsel are ad idem that the matter be left to the Haryana Public Service Commission to be decided in the facts and circumstances of the case. The petition is, thus, disposed of with liberty SUKHPREET KAUR 2019.03.
