(Oral) Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No.184 dated 22.11.2019 under Sections 406 and 420 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 13 of Punjab Travel Professionals Act, 2014, registered at Police Station City Nawanshahr, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar.

Learned State counsel has verified the authenticity of the Identity Card, Annexure P-2 and upon instructions from SI Mohinder Singh submitted that the aforesaid Identity Card had been issued to the petitioner by the office of District and Sessions Judge, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. He has further submitted that petitioner had worked as Clerk with a lawyer from January 2013 to May 2014 approximately and thereafter, is not working with any lawyer in the District Court. CRM-M-54402 of 2019 {2} Learned State counsel, upon further instructions from SI Mohinder Singh submits that the petitioner has joined investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation. In view of the above facts, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 22.01.2020 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
