***** KARAMJIT SINGH, J. (Oral) Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in criminal case having FIR No.232 dated 17.10.2024 registered under Sections 61 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914 and (Sections 318(4), 61(2) of BNS, 2023 added later on) at Police Station Sadar Amritsar, District Amritsar. Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner apprised this Court that in compliance of the earlier order dated 13.11.2024, the petitioner has joined the investigation with the Police. The State counsel on instructions from Inspector Harinder Singh submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for the purpose of any further investigation by the Police. The State counsel also submits that recoveries in this case are already effected. In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and order of interim bail dated PUNEET CHAWLA 2025.02.20 11:04 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment
