(Oral) Instant petition has been filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.0114 dated 08.06.2017 registered under Sections 498-A, 323, 34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Jandiala, Amritsar (Rural) (Annexure P-1).

Upon instructions from Sub Inspector Balraj Singh, State counsel submits that the petitioner has expired on 19.10.2021 and the petition has become infructuous.
