Through this petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No.51 dated 31.01.2019, registered at Police Station City Mahendergarh, under Sections 323 and 302 IPC and Section 3 of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

Vide order dated 20.12.2019 passed by a Coordinate Bench, the petitioner had been directed to appear before the trial Court on the date fixed and on his doing so, he had been ordered to be released on interim bail, subject to his furnishing requisite bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the Court concerned.

The petitioner has been summoned under Section 319 Cr.P.C. He is only to face the trial and not required for any interrogation purposes. In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 20.12.2019 granting interim bail to the petitioner, is made absolute. 12.08.2021
