It is informed that pursuant to the directions issued by the Chief Minister, Haryana, on 17.09.2019, the initial tender proceedings initiated by the authorities were directed to be cancelled and an inquiry into the matter was required to be conducted. It is also informed that after withdrawal of the initial tender proceedings, subsequently two fresh tenders for the same work were issued, which have also been withdrawn. Learned Additional Advocate General, appearing for the State of Haryana, submits that pursuant to the orders and directions of the Chief Minister, Haryana, an inquiry into the matter has been initiated and it is pending with the Government.
In view of the aforesaid factual position, which is not disputed by the parties and without entering into the merits of the case, both the aforesaid petitions are disposed of with direction to the Additional Chief Secretary, Urban Local Bodies, Haryana to complete the inquiry and take a decision thereon by passing a speaking order, preferably within a period of four weeks, in accordance with law and after giving an opportunity to the petitioner as also respondent no.6 in CWP-36875-2019 to produce the necessary materials, evidence and information before the said authority.
