(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing DDR No.37 dated 19.11.2018, under Sections 323, 324, 148 and 149 IPC, Police Station Samrala, District Khanna in FIR No.289 dated 19.11.2018, registered under Sections 323, 324 and 24 IPC, Police Station Samrala, District Khanna (P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise. Pursuant to order dated 11.12.2018 of this Court, parties appeared before the trial Court on 20.12.2018 for recording their statements. Learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Samrala, has submitted her report vide letter bearing No.798 dated 16.02.2019 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Ludhiana, vide letter SONIKA 2019.04.04 16:18 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

According to the report, ld. Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Samrala, is satisfied that compromise has been voluntarily entered into between the parties and appears to be a genuine and without any pressure or coercion.
In compliance of order dated 27.02.2019, original receipts regarding deposit of costs of `15,000/- have also been produced in Court today. The same are taken on record. Be tagged at appropriate place. Considering the report of ld. Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Samrala, dated 16.02.2019 and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid DDR No.37 dated 19.11.2018 in FIR No.289 dated 19.11.2018 along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners only.
Disposed of accordingly.
