PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) Short reply by way of affidavit of Sanjeev Singla, PPS, DSP, City-1, Patiala has been filed on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3 today in Court, which is taken on record. Operative part thereof reads as under : "3.

That in this regard, it is submitted that the police of Police Station Kotwali, Patiala approached the petitioners to make their statement regarding the above noted petition filed by them before this Hon'ble Court. But the petitioner No.1-Harjeet Kaur produced her duly attested affidavit dated 09.12.2023 before the police. Copy of the affidavit is attached herewith as Annexure R-1.

That as per above affidavit, the parties have already been entered into compromise, so no action is liable to be taken by the police in the matter."

In view of above, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present petition at the hands of this Court.

Consequently, the petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
