JASGURPREET SINGH PURI , J. (ORAL ) Petitioners claim that they have attained majority and married against the wishes of their family members. Apprehending threat to their life and liberty, they have filed the present petition for protection. Petitioners claim to have submitted a representation (Annexure P-5) dated Nil in this regard to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala.

The petitioners have placed on record only the copies of Aadhar Cards (Annexures P-1 and P-2) as proof of their age. During the course of hearing, Matriculation certificate of petitioner No.1 has been produced on record. Be tagged at appropriate place. Certificate (Annexure P4) as well as photographs (Annexure P3) regarding performance of marriage, have also been placed on record. This petition is disposed of with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala, to look into the representation Annexure P-5 dated Nil and ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioners. However, it is made clear that this order shall not be treated as stamp of the Court about the marriage of the parties and no opinion regarding the validity of the marriage has been expressed.
