This is a petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.155 dated 23.11.2016 registered under Sections 406, 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Women Cell, Police Commissionerate, Jalandhar, on merits. 2.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the present petition has since been rendered infructuous inasmuch as the present FIR has already been quashed on the basis of compromise between the parties vide order dated 30.09.2021 passed in CRM-M-25603-2021 titled as 'Rajmir Singh and Others vs. State of Punjab and Another'.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed off as having been rendered infructuous. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
