The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of provisional list of selected candidates.

Learned counsel for the petitioners at the outset submits that petitioners have filed an appeal before the appellate authority assailing provisional selection list. He submits that, at this stage, grievance of the petitioners would be redressed if respondents are directed to decide appeal of the petitioners within a time bound manner.

Learned counsel for the State submits that appeal of the petitioners shall be decided within a period of four weeks from today by passing a speaking order.
